As a Director at The Connecticut Project, Robert works closely with partners, grantees, and community members to expand opportunity and improve outcomes for Connecticut residents.

Before joining The Connecticut Project, Robert served in several leadership roles in Tennessee, including Deputy Chief of Staff to Nashville Mayor John Cooper and Director for Strategy & Innovation at Memphis-Shelby County Schools. Beyond his contributions in Connecticut, Robert also advises communities across the country on economic mobility strategies as a Senior Advisor at Results for America.

Why do you do the work?

I envision a world where every young person has the opportunity to live self actualized lives in communities that are rooted in love, kindness, and respect.

What are some specific places or things you love in Connecticut?

I love how diverse the state is. There are so many communities with various cultures and histories that make the state a fun and vibrant place to live.
